Helping Thulo Parsel, Nepal
Omschrijving:
In 2014 werkte ik 5 weken mee aan de herbouw van scholen op de Filipijnen die door wervelstorm Haiyan beschadigd of verwoest waren. Dat gaf zoveel bevrediging dat ik een nieuwe soortgelijke uitdaging zocht. Hierbij kwam ik in contact met de Stichting Helping Thulo Parsel die in het dorpje Thulo Parsel in Nepal woningen bouwt voor gezinnen die hun huis verloren tijdens de aardbevingen in april en mei 2015. Inmiddels zijn door de bewoners met financiële hulp en technisch advies uit Nederland vier nieuwe aardbevingsbestendige(r) huizen gebouwd. Met drie volgende woningen is een begin gemaakt.
Binnenkort ga ik 2 weken naar Nepal en breng dan o.a. een bezoek aan Thulo Parsel als kennismaking en om te kijken of de technische uitvoering nog verder geoptimaliseerd kan worden. Omdat ik nog niet eerder in Nepal was neem ik uiteraard ook de gelegenheid om dit land en haar bewoners nader te leren kennen. Helemaal onbekend is de Himalaya niet voor mij. In 2012 maakte ik een trekking op de fiets door Himachal Pradesh waar ik heel mooie herinneringen aan bewaar.

Helping Thulo Parsel, Nepal
Omschrijving:
In 2014 werkte ik 5 weken mee aan de herbouw van scholen op de Filipijnen die door wervelstorm Haiyan beschadigd of verwoest waren. Dat gaf zoveel bevrediging dat ik een nieuwe soortgelijke uitdaging zocht. Hierbij kwam ik in contact met de Stichting Helping Thulo Parsel die in het dorpje Thulo Parsel in Nepal woningen bouwt voor gezinnen die hun huis verloren tijdens de aardbevingen in april en mei 2015. Inmiddels zijn door de bewoners met financiële hulp en technisch advies uit Nederland vier nieuwe aardbevingsbestendige(r) huizen gebouwd. Met drie volgende woningen is een begin gemaakt.
Binnenkort ga ik 2 weken naar Nepal en breng dan o.a. een bezoek aan Thulo Parsel als kennismaking en om te kijken of de technische uitvoering nog verder geoptimaliseerd kan worden. Omdat ik nog niet eerder in Nepal was neem ik uiteraard ook de gelegenheid om dit land en haar bewoners nader te leren kennen. Helemaal onbekend is de Himalaya niet voor mij. In 2012 maakte ik een trekking op de fiets door Himachal Pradesh waar ik heel mooie herinneringen aan bewaar.

Helping Thulo Parsel, Nepal
Omschrijving:
In 2014 werkte ik 5 weken mee aan de herbouw van scholen op de Filipijnen die door wervelstorm Haiyan beschadigd of verwoest waren. Dat gaf zoveel bevrediging dat ik een nieuwe soortgelijke uitdaging zocht. Hierbij kwam ik in contact met de Stichting Helping Thulo Parsel die in het dorpje Thulo Parsel in Nepal woningen bouwt voor gezinnen die hun huis verloren tijdens de aardbevingen in april en mei 2015. Inmiddels zijn door de bewoners met financiële hulp en technisch advies uit Nederland vier nieuwe aardbevingsbestendige(r) huizen gebouwd. Met drie volgende woningen is een begin gemaakt.
Binnenkort ga ik 2 weken naar Nepal en breng dan o.a. een bezoek aan Thulo Parsel als kennismaking en om te kijken of de technische uitvoering nog verder geoptimaliseerd kan worden. Omdat ik nog niet eerder in Nepal was neem ik uiteraard ook de gelegenheid om dit land en haar bewoners nader te leren kennen. Helemaal onbekend is de Himalaya niet voor mij. In 2012 maakte ik een trekking op de fiets door Himachal Pradesh waar ik heel mooie herinneringen aan bewaar.

Helping Thulo Parsel, Nepal
Omschrijving:
In 2014 werkte ik 5 weken mee aan de herbouw van scholen op de Filipijnen die door wervelstorm Haiyan beschadigd of verwoest waren. Dat gaf zoveel bevrediging dat ik een nieuwe soortgelijke uitdaging zocht. Hierbij kwam ik in contact met de Stichting Helping Thulo Parsel die in het dorpje Thulo Parsel in Nepal woningen bouwt voor gezinnen die hun huis verloren tijdens de aardbevingen in april en mei 2015. Inmiddels zijn door de bewoners met financiële hulp en technisch advies uit Nederland vier nieuwe aardbevingsbestendige(r) huizen gebouwd. Met drie volgende woningen is een begin gemaakt.
Binnenkort ga ik 2 weken naar Nepal en breng dan o.a. een bezoek aan Thulo Parsel als kennismaking en om te kijken of de technische uitvoering nog verder geoptimaliseerd kan worden. Omdat ik nog niet eerder in Nepal was neem ik uiteraard ook de gelegenheid om dit land en haar bewoners nader te leren kennen. Helemaal onbekend is de Himalaya niet voor mij. In 2012 maakte ik een trekking op de fiets door Himachal Pradesh waar ik heel mooie herinneringen aan bewaar.

[description] => Koert gaat regelmatig naar Suriname om workshops te geven aan collega's in het onderwijs, ouders en leerlingen. Maar als er een gaatje valt in het programma, dan springt hij graag op de mountainbike om door de savanne en het oerwoud te fietsen.
In 2014 hielp Koert 5 weken mee aan de herbouw van verwoeste scholen in de Filipijnen en in 2016 werkte hij mee aan een kleinschalig herbouwprogramma van woonhuizen in Nepal. Ook in 2017 staat Nepal op het programma om mee te werken bij de herbouw van scholen die door de aardbevingen werden verwoest.

[description] => In 2014 werkte ik 5 weken mee aan de herbouw van scholen op de Filipijnen die door wervelstorm Haiyan beschadigd of verwoest waren. Dat gaf zoveel bevrediging dat ik een nieuwe soortgelijke uitdaging zocht. Hierbij kwam ik in contact met de Stichting Helping Thulo Parsel die in het dorpje Thulo Parsel in Nepal woningen bouwt voor gezinnen die hun huis verloren tijdens de aardbevingen in april en mei 2015. Inmiddels zijn door de bewoners met financiële hulp en technisch advies uit Nederland vier nieuwe aardbevingsbestendige(r) huizen gebouwd. Met drie volgende woningen is een begin gemaakt.
Binnenkort ga ik 2 weken naar Nepal en breng dan o.a. een bezoek aan Thulo Parsel als kennismaking en om te kijken of de technische uitvoering nog verder geoptimaliseerd kan worden. Omdat ik nog niet eerder in Nepal was neem ik uiteraard ook de gelegenheid om dit land en haar bewoners nader te leren kennen. Helemaal onbekend is de Himalaya niet voor mij. In 2012 maakte ik een trekking op de fiets door Himachal Pradesh waar ik heel mooie herinneringen aan bewaar.
